Kunming Theatre to welcome US musicians

Three concerts will be launched at Kunming Theatre in December. American pianist, symphony orchestra and Taiwan flute player will stage fantastic performances to Kunming audiences.
Solo played by American pianist
Kevin Class has demonstrated success as a pianist and conductor. He has played the whole piano sonata in the seasonal musical events in Amsterdam and Belgian in 1997.
A fantastic piano recital will be presented by Kevin Class on December 3, in which three preludes of George Gershwin, Dante sonata etc will be presented.
Virginia Symphony Orchestra
Performers from Virginia Symphony Orchestra will present a concert of "the voice of Virginia" on December 28. The performance is appealed by Zhang Yun (张云), Chinese American violinist. Zhang Yun’s wife, ChenYajing (陈雅菁) who is a flute performer from Taiwan, Jeffrey Brown, an American pianist, and David Vick who plays French horn will perform together. In their concert in China, works of John Sebastian Bach, Ma Sicong and Antonio Lucio Vivaldi will be played.
Combination of piano and the seven-stringed plucked instrument
Pianist Gao Ping (高平) and seven-stringed plucked instrument player Dong Wenwen (董雯雯) will show audiences the perfect combination of piano and the seven-stringed plucked instrument on December 23. Gao Ping is well-known as the one of composers in the sixth generation in China.
