Blue Moon Valley in Lijiang

Blue Moon Valley, or Lanyuegu, was known for a river called Baishui River. When it is sunny, the water looks blue. The valley is in the shape of crescent. Seen from the distance, it is like a blue moon inset at the bottom of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, thus it wins the beautiful name Blue Moon Valley. People call it Baishui River as the earth is white, and the water seems white when it is rainy. It is actually the thawing water from the snow mountain, which running from the east of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
How to get there:
You can take the No.7 bus to there at the Hongtaiyang Square near the big water wheels.

The scenery spot is located on the north of Ganzihai Lake and right in the valley which is on the south of the Spruce Meadow. [qcyn.sina.com]
