The 3rd Mangshi (China) Int'l Coffee Cultural Festival will be held in Mangshi of Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province from December 7 to 9.

Merchants from home and abroad will be invited to attend business negotiations at the 3-day festival on the subjects of cultivation of new species of coffee, consumption analysis of coffee in the world, market analysis of coffee in China etc. In addition, various activities will also be organized then, including coffee-tasting contest and exhibition of Yunnan coffee.

Dehong has been planting its own coffee since the beginning of the 20th century and is also known as "land of coffee" in China. So far, the planting area of coffee in Dehong has reached 150,000 mu, accounting for 30% of the country's total.

The festival, to some extent, will provide a platform for people from home and abroad to know more about Yunnan coffee and help promote the development of the local coffee industry. (Editor:Hyesung)
