38 Cambodian enterprises to attend 3rd China-South Asia Expo

[InKunming--Kunming] The 3rd China-South Asia Expo is to be held in June in Kunming soon. 75 countries, regions will appoint delegations to attend the expo.
Mr. Sao Khoradin, Consul-General of Royal Cambodia Consulate General in Kunming, on behalf of Cambodia, was invited to give an introduction about Cambodia’s exhibition situations for the expo in a news conference in Kunming, on May 22, 2015.
According to Mr. Sao Khoradin, this year, Cambodia will arrange 38 enterprises to attend the 3rd China-South Asia Expo. Forty-two booths are set for Comedian enterprises to exhibit their products. Totally over 100 people from Cambodia will take part in the expo.
Cambodian products including agricultural products, like rice, handicraft works, like wood carvings, tourism products, like exquisite jewelry, will be brought to exhibit in the expo.
"Not only products we bring are sold in the expo, but also projects referring to agriculture, industry, tourism, etc. could we discuss for mutual development on the scene of the expo. Welcome visitors to pay a visit to our Cambodian booths. " Mr. Sao Khoradin introduced.
Yunnan and Cambodia have cooperated in fields of agriculture, culture, education, economy for years. Since 2011, Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province, had set up sister-city relationship with Phnom Penh, capital city of Royal Cambodia. Yunnan Province of China also established sister-province relations with Banteay Meanchey Province and Siem Reap Province of Royal Cambodia.
Mr. Sao Khoradin noted, Cambodia welcomed more and more Yunnan's enterprises to invest in the country. To provide convenience for foreign investors, Cambodia has established CDC, a specialized council, to help foreign investors deal with project examination and approval in Cambodia.
For bilateral cooperation between Yunnan and Cambodia in agriculture, Yunnan and Cambodia had built demonstration gardens of agricultural science and technology in Banteay Meanchey and Siem Reap respectively, and made researches in hybrid rice, hybrid corn, vegetables and flowers with joint hands.
"Yunnan helped Banteay Meanchey and Siem Reap to improve their agricultural development level. It's a win-win situation." Mr. Sao Khoradin told InKunming journalists in the news conference.
Mr. Sao Khoradin said: "Due to deepened cooperation between China and Cambodia, more and more Cambodian students come to study abroad in Yunnan Province. Some Cambodian students are dispatched to study Chinese language in Dali University in Dali prefecture of Yunnan. Other Cambodian students who stay in Kunming for a longer time are learning professional knowledge in different universities of Yunnan to get Chinese master degrees."
As for culture and economy cooperation, a tourism cultural project named Smile of Angkor managed by a Yunnan company won success in Cambodia for years.
Mr. Sao Khoradin also expressed his appreciation towards Kunming’s city construction. "Kunming is a very beautiful city. Its climate and infrastructure construction are both marvelous." Mr. Sao Khoradin said at the end of the news conference.
