[InKunming--Kunming] 2017 Kunming Art Exhibition is currently being held at Kunming Museum until December 29th. It is a comprehensive art exhibition with more than 200 art works representing the level of art creation in Kunming.

The exhibition received around 1,400 works from all over the country, and more than 200 works were selected to exhibit. The wide range of themes and styles cover Chinese painting, oil painting, watercolor painting, and sculpture, etc. It fully embodies the artistic value of the contemporary art at the same time shows strong characteristics of the age. The natural beauty and ethnic customs of Yunnan Kunming are presented from multiple dimensions.

The exhibition not only includes the art works from Kunming, but also has many across the country, which reflects the open attitude of Kunming. Young artists took a large part of participants, and some of them are students in the academy, studying postgraduate or master degree. Their works change variably with creative thoughts, and keep up with the trends of the times.
