[InKunming--Yunnan] The first Yunnan Traditional Drama & Quyi performance kicked off at Yunnan Opera Theatre in the evening of January 15th. The performance aims to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and cultivate more talents in this field.

The performance lasts for 4 days and includes 33 programs of all kinds of drama and quyi forms in Yunnan Province. More than 500 participants from 14 cities gathered in Kunming to compete with each other.

It is understood that the performances will be appraised from the perspective of professional and folk. The results will be announced and awarded in the closing ceremony.

In addition to the main venue in Yunnan Opera Theater, the Organizing Committee also selected several branch venues to present wonderful performances, including Guandu Town and Nanqiang Street No.88 theater.
