Czech Boys Choir to give a performance in Kunming on August 31
[InKunming--Kunming] Czech Boys Choir, also named BONI PUERI, will give a wonderful performance in Kunming on August 31, announced by Kunming Theatre.
BONI PUERI will sing kinds of songs referring to classical music, Czechic and several countries’ folk songs, and famous films' songs on the day.
BONI PUERI, was founded in 1982 and has become one of Europe's most famous musical ensembles. The choir has given more than 2,500 concerts in North America, Asia and Europe, and has produced 13 recordings. They have been invited to participate in 20 other recordings with Supraphon, EMI, BMG and ArcoDiva.
The choir is invited to perform regularly with eminent artists, including José Carreras and Bobby McFerrin, and with other important ensembles and orchestras around the world. It has been privileged to perform in some of the world’s great concert halls including Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, Winspear Hall in Edmonton, Canada, the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Hall, Seoul Arts Centre, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, etc..
BONI PUERI is a cultural ambassador of the "European Federation of Choirs of the Union". The choir has appeared at numerous international music festivals including The Prague Spring Festival (1994, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2005), Europalia (Brussels 1998) and so on.
