[InKunming--Yunnan]  What's the most beautidul scene in autumn? Definitely, the answer is rice field. There is a large golden field of rice in Guangnan which is only 1 hour and 50 minutes away from Kunming. The China Guangnan 2018 World Rice Culture Festival will be held here from September 19 to October 6.

Guangnan county, located in the southeast of Yunnan province and the northeast of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao autonomous prefecture, is at the junction of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi, playing a significant role as the airport and railway developing in recent years. There are 11 ethnic groups, such as Zhuang, Han, Miao, Yi, Yao, etc., accounting for 62% of the total population of Guangnan. The most mysterious is that Guangnan was the kingdom of Gouding 2,200 years ago, which was 500 more years than the Old Dian Kingdom, being regarded as one of the 8 ancient kingdoms in Yunnan.

The nearly 20-day festival links the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day, offters many interesting activities for tourists, such as Zhuang embroidery products, plateau agricultural fair, county museum, rice cultural ritual, long street banquet, rice auction, art creation competition, bikini show, music festival and so on.

4 kinds of transportation ways are available:

Bullet train: from Kunming railway station, or Kunming South railway station, there are bullet trains to Guangnan. The fastest train only takes 1 hour and 44 minutes, and the ticket price is about 109 yuan for each person.

Coach: Kunming eastern coach station operates 4 coaches every day, starting from 11 a.m., and about 7 hours to arrive at destination. The ticket price is about 150 yuan per person.

Self-driving: it takes 6 hours to drive along Guangkun expressway. It is about 430 kilometers on the road, and the toll fee is about 250 yuan.

Airplane: after arriving at Wenshan Puzhehei airport, travellers could choose to take a bus to the county, which takes about 2 hours.
