2019 China International Travel Mart (CITM) will be held at Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 15 to 17. It is said that Kunming Pavilion of CITM will highlight the integration of culture and tourism, showing a good image of Kunming. 

Kunming Pavilion covering 432 square meters and is the largest scale of exhibition comparing to other cities’ of Yunnan province.

“In the process of designing exhibition areas, there are intangible cultural heritage exhibition area, the cultural exhibition area of Kunming City, the flower exhibition area and the intelligent technology exhibition area. The whole design will impress visitors from home and abroad.” Yang Guangming, the Kunming Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism said.

Yang introduced that immersive experience will be provided this year comparing with the former ones. For example, in the exhibition area of old Kunming, visitors not only can buy cultural and creative products, but also make some handicrafts on site.  

The overall layout of Kunming Pavilion this year highlights that Kunming is a historical and cultural city full of vigor. Moreover, there will be tourism consultation, tourism routes and product displaying on site to meet tourists’ needs.

At present, more than 20 local companies have singed up in Kunming exhibition group for CITM. Later those which can reflect the national characteristics of Kunming will be selected to show the image of Spring City to outside.
