Indonesia prepares over 6,000 EVs for G20 Summit
The Indonesian government is preparing a total of 6,161 electric vehicles as the main transportation tool to be used during the G20 Summit in Bali this year.
"There are several brands for cars and motorcycles that we will use. Among them are Hyundai, Wuling, and Lexus," Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said in a statement Wednesday.
At the two-day G20 Summit scheduled to be held on Nov. 15 to 16, around 290 units of electric motorcycles will also be used as escort patrol vehicles.
In addition, several hundreds of charging stations are currently being prepared, according to Amin.
