In Shidian County, Yunnan Province, stewed ham with pumpkin, fried pumpkin flowers, pumpkin pie... these are home-cooked dishes on local residents' table. With the taste of autumn, the pumpkin feast makes people feel unforgettable.
It is reported that this year in Heyuan Township, Shidian County, more than 5,000 mu (about 333.33 hectares) of pumpkins are planted, with an estimated output value of more than 13 million yuan. Pumpkin is rich in nutrition, and the sweet taste makes it popular among consumers, and it not only enriches people's table, but also increases farmers’ income.
