First photovoltaic agriculture power plant in Nujiang connected to the power grid for electricity generation
Recently, the 40-megawatt photovoltaic agriculture power plant invested and built by Huadian Yunnan New Energy Group Corporation Limited is located in Laowo Village of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture. This first photovoltaic agriculture power plant in Nujiang was connected to the power grid for electricity generation.
This project is one of the new energy investment projects in Yunnan Province, with a total installed capacity of 40 megawatts, an estimated investment of 236 million yuan, and a supporting 35 KV switch station. During the project's operation period, the average on-grid electricity for many years is 73.8451 million kilowatt-hours (kwh). After putting into operation, 23,200 tons of standard coal can be saved annually, and about 58,000 tons of carbon dioxide, 197.09 tons of sulfur dioxide, and 1,057.47 tons of smoke and dust can be reduced.
It is reported that this project adopted the "agriculture and light complementary" mode for construction and developed highly efficient agriculture planting among the photovoltaic arrays, which will become one of the key rural revitalization projects to consolidate achievements in local poverty alleviation.
