Wanxi Pear Blossom Festival Opens on Mar 18th
Visitors can explore ethnic characteristic markets, watch ethnic performances, taste ethnic cuisine, and experience ethnic activities such as tie-dyes of the Bai ethnic group at the 11th "Wanxi Pear Blossom Festival" which will open on March 18th. The festival consists of three main sections and 21 activities, inviting citizens to enjoy the pear blossoms together.

The "Don't Waste Spring and Miss You" section will focus on the eight traditional Chinese arts known as "qin, qi, shu, hua, poetry, wine, flower, and tea", which have been passed down for thousands of years. A literary performance will kick off the event in the Wanxi Pear Town pedestrian street. Students from Yunnan Minzu University will present a diverse ethnic market.

In the "New Appearance and New Vitality" section, the 11th "Pear Blossom Poetry Meeting" will be held. Visitors can wear traditional Chinese costumes, write poems, and leave elegant and charming memories in front of the pear blossoms. The second "Pear Blossom Book Club" will continue to share and read books. A media journalist tour will be held, and photographers and editors will gather in Wanxichong for the "Beauty of Pear Blossom Village" photography tour.

In the "Agriculture, Culture, Tourism, and Trade All-Around Development" section, e-commerce is used to assist agriculture, and explore the development path of livestreaming for agriculture. A flower viewing route will be released, and an online concert will be live-streamed. At the same time, high-quality volunteer services will be provided by volunteer students from Yunnan Normal University, Yunnan Minzu University, and Kunming University of Science and Technology, exhibiting the youthful charm of Yunnan's youth.

In Chenggong District, Kunming, the famous hometown of Baozhu pear, the spring breeze once again brought the beauty of the blooming of pear blossoms. The annual Pear Blossom Festival has arrived, welcome to Wanxichong to enjoy the grand and white festival.
