Recently, there have been up to 10 varieties and more than 6,000 ornamental allium plants coming into bloom at the Sino-Uz Global Allium Garden (Kunming Center) in Kunming Botanical Garden. It is reported that many allium plants have significant economic value. For a long time, people have cultivated them for edible, medicinal and ornamental uses.
