Xuanwei City is located in northeastern Yunnan Province, at the confluence of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi provinces. Known as the "Eastern Gateway of Yunnan," it enjoys a pleasantly cool climate. In recent years, leveraging its abundant natural resources and cultural landscapes, Xuanwei has vigorously developed its tourism industry, attracting a growing number of visitors for sightseeing and leisure.

At the Yigu Flower Sea Hotel in Yong'an Village, Banqiao Subdistrict, Zhang Qian, a visitor from out of town, shared her sojourn experience in Xuanwei.

Tourist Zhang Qian mentioned, "I feel that the climate here is particularly pleasant, and the food suits my taste very well. They even have their own vegetable garden where we can pick fresh produce straight from the ground—it's all organically grown. In March, there are rapeseed flowers to admire, and by June, the roses are in bloom."

Centered around a 3,000-mu(a traditional Chinese unit of area) rose plantation, Yong'an Village is developing a comprehensive rural complex that integrates landscape, ecology, culture, tourism, wellness, and industry. This creates an idyllic sojourn mode with scenic views throughout all seasons and suitable for both relaxation and activities, offering urban dwellers an escape into nature.

Zhou Shujuan, another traveler, added, "I feel a lot of pressure in my life recently, and I want to find a place to unwind. This place is ideal—the environment is beautiful. We picked vegetables from the garden and cooked by ourselves, which felt wonderfully healthy. The homestays are spotless, the locals are very enthusiastic, and the temperature is just right—neither too hot nor too cold."

Jiang Yan, the manager of Yigu Flower Sea Resort Hotel, stated, "Our resort focuses on 'Agriculture + Cultural Tourism' as its core concept, creating a comprehensive business model that combines flower fields, sightseeing, farming experiences, family-friendly entertainment, accommodation, and dining. We have 3,000 mu of edible rose fields and 400 mu of rapeseed flower fields as seasonal attractions, which have drawn a large number of visitors. The supporting facilities, including RV campsites, high-end homestays, the Yigu Flower Sea Resort Hotel, and a children’s playground, further enhance the visitor experience. In the future, we will also develop a lotus garden, an eco-friendly vegetable garden, and a greenhouse picking area to diversify our offerings and provide travelers with a higher-quality sojourn experience."

In addition to distinctive sojourn destinations like the Yigu Flower Sea, Xuanwei City offers multiple areas for travelers to choose from. Villages such as Geping in Xize Township, Guanzhai in Puli Township, and Huoshipen in Dongshan Town are characterized by their beautiful landscapes, rustic charm, and rich historical and cultural heritage, making them favored spots for those in search of tranquil and natural experiences, thus offering visitors a unique sojourn experience.

Moving forward, Xuanwei City will continue to increase investment and support for the sojourn industry, improving the supporting facilities at sojourn destinations. The city will integrate tourism resources from various regions and introduce more diverse and enriching experiential activities, allowing travelers to deeply experience the essence of "a lifestyle called Yunnan."
