Part 1 The Golden Vantage Point for Dianchi Sunset
Meandering boardwalks wind through the hills, punctuated by the iconic red spiral viewing platform and the geometric-framed viewing platform. Standing here, gaze upon the mirror-like surface of Dianchi Lake, the gentle undulations of the Xishan Mountain, and the lush greenery nearby. Part 2 Lazy Route VS Immersive Experience: How to Reach the Bridge of Mountain?
Route 1: From Haiyan Village (Approx. 3km, Lazy-Friendly)

Navigation: Haiyan Village East Parking Lot (Temporary parking lot currently due to construction).
Hiking Time: Approximately 30 minutes. From the entrance of Haiyan Village, take the gentle slope to the left along the Greenway, where you can overlook the scenery of the Dianchi Outer Sea Wetland.
Lazy Perk: Recently added 3 shuttle buses (Haiyan Village Entrance → Mingzhen Mountain), significantly shortening the walking distance.
Route 2: From Gudian Wetland (Approx. 7.7km, Scenic Route)

Navigation: Gudian Wetland Park
Cycling Challenge: Consecutive uphill climbs and sharp turns on the Greenway offer a "wind-breaking" experience for experienced cyclists; casual visitors are advised to hike, as the route transitions through wetlands, docks, and tree-lined paths, showcasing diverse and captivating scenery.

Recommended Combination: Drive to Haiyan Village East Parking Lot + Hike up the mountain (Depart at 7:30 to avoid midday sun exposure).
Hidden Bonus: Hike to the "Eye of Dianchi Lake" viewing platform on the mountaintop for a 360° panoramic view of Kunming's main city and Gudian Wetland. On clear days, you can even glimpse the "Sleeping Beauty" of the Xishan Mountain in the distance.
Part 3 Surrounding the Bridge of Mountain: Little-Known Attractions Only Locals Know
Haiyan Village: The Atmosphere After Sunset
Fishermen's Village Stroll: Cobblestone streets, earthen houses, and fishing boat docks evoke a sense of stepping back in time.
Sunset Surprise: The beach within the village provides a perfect vantage point for a level view of the Dianchi sunset, creating a contrasting perspective to the panoramic views from the Bridge of Mountain. You can also pop into a local restaurant for a delicious meal, or sit by the lake with a pot of tea, waiting for the sunset to paint the sky red.
Note: Haiyan Village is currently undergoing a residential environment improvement project. During construction, some areas will have temporary route adjustments. It is expected to reopen on October 1, 2025. Visitors are advised to plan their itinerary in advance.

Mingzhen Mountain Hike: A Secret Route for Light Chasers
Chasing the Light: Hike along the Greenway to Mingzhen Mountain, capturing the "Tyndall effect" as the sunlight filters through the trees.

Important Tips:
Avoid the Crowds, Enjoy the Romance: Arrive at the viewing platform 1 hour in advance to secure a prime spot and await the sunset.
Safety First: Some sections of the Greenway have steep slopes. Wear helmets while cycling; hiking requires non-slip shoes.
Parking Suggestions: Parking at Haiyan Village is limited. Navigate to "Haiyan Village East Parking Lot" or park in external parking lots in the village. Parking at Gudian Wetland is more readily available.
