At the 2025 First International Travel Services Conference in Sanya, China unveiled its first premier cross-border tourist train – the "Colorful Yunnan · Kunming." Hailed as a "Rolling Cultural Hotel," this train represents both a national pilot project integrating transportation prowess with cultural tourism and an innovative benchmark for cross-border travel under the Belt & Road Initiative.

One Train, Two Journeys: China-Laos Route & Yunnan Loop
1.China-Laos Railway (7D6N)
Departing: December 3, 2025
Setting off from Kunming, journeying southward:
Xishuangbanna: Explore tropical botanical gardens and join the Dai Water-Splashing Festival, and dive into the Peacock of Pindehong.
Luang Prabang: Partake in the morning alms-giving ritual and embark on a scenic cruise along the Mekong River.
