With the gentle breeze of early summer, the roses of Kunming burst forth in unrestrained splendor. Rosa multiflora and rosa chinensis, belong to the Rosales order, Rosaceae family, Rosa genus, and generally refer to "roses."
Every flowering season, debates erupt over whether a blossom is Rosa multiflora, Rosa chinensis, or another variety. In fact, there's no need to worry – rosa rugosa, rosa multiflora and rosa chinensis are all from the same family, the "three sisters" of the Rosaceae family, Rosa genus. If you really can't tell the difference, just call them "roses" and you'll never be wrong!
